Where these tools come from

I did not invent them at a desk. They come from a practice, and to a practice they return. Liminal Studio is where this work happens before it becomes a page: consulting and training on artificial intelligence, at the threshold between culture and technology, inside the rooms where companies and people actually try to live with artificial otherness instead of merely using it.

If the book is the corridor, this site is the gym: the place where the Confident Attitude is not read but trained, kept in practice, tested with others and on real work. The book lets you meet it; the gym is what keeps you from losing it.

The books

Liminal Editions is the publishing imprint of Liminal Studio. Two English titles, one carved out of the other.

  • 01

A.I. Confidential. Me, Myself and AI

The full work. Confessions on artificial otherness: four operative metaphors — Camera Obscura, Turing’s Cat, Fabula Rasa, Confident Attitude — seven thresholds, three simultaneous epilogues. 6 × 9″, 389 pages.

  • 02

    The Threshold

The reduction. The same corridor, walked at pace, with its own cuts shown rather than hidden. Seven bricked-up doors marked in the margin, and a quiz at the end that is the test of the whole path. 5 × 8″, 168 pages.

The complete work lives at aiconfidential.it, with the online appendices, the reflected index and the final quiz.

The author

Bernardo Lecci, Florentine. For thirty years he invented and reinvented identities for others: ten years as Advertising Director of Benetton Group, then the leadership of agencies, repositionings and innovation projects from fashion to fintech, university teaching in marketing and transformation. A first-generation digital immigrant, he has crossed enough technological revolutions to lose count. This work springs from his most honest vocation: giving unsolicited advice. He believes uncertainty is an intellectual duty. That is what makes him credible. Maybe…
